Sinopsis / Synopsis: “Vud, You Have Won!” is a poetic documentary film about Dusan
Vukotic — the only Yugoslav Oscar winner — and about an era that disappeared with him.
Through rare archival footage, personal testimonies and an intimate reflection on creativity,
the film explores not only the rise and fall of a forgotten artist, but also the lost promise of a
country that no longer exists. A story about the resilience of art, and about freedom drawn
with a pencil.
‘’Vude, ti si pobijedio’’ je poetični dokumentarac o Dušanu Vukotiću – jedinom
jugoslovenskom dobitniku Oskara –i o epohi koja je nestala sa njim. Kroz rijetke arhivske
materijale, lična svjedočanstva i intimna razmišljanja o kreativnosti, ovaj film istražuje ne
samo uspon i pad zaboravljenog umjetnika, nego i izgubljeno obećanje o zemlji koja više ne
postoji. Ovo je priča o opstanku umjetnosti, i o slobodi nacrtanoj olovkom.

O reditelju / Director’s bio: Senad Šahmanović je crnogorski filmski i televizijski reditelj. Završio je
osnovne i specijalističke studije filmske i TV režije na Fakultetu dramskih umjetnosti na Cetinju. Od 2015.
godine radi kao reditelj u Radio Televiziji Crne Gore, gdje je režirao više dokumentarno-igranih formata.
Trenutno je urednik Kulturno umjetničkog programa TVCG
Njegov debitantski dugometražni igrani film Sirin premijerno je prikazan na Sarajevo Film
Festivalu, a potom i na brojnim međunarodnim festivalima. Film je bio zvanični crnogorski
kandidat za Oskara u kategoriji Najbolji međunarodni igrani film.
Njegov drugi igrani projekat, Pontonovo srce, hibrid igranog filma i TV serije, prikazivan je sa
uspjehom na festivalima, u bioskopima i na televiziji, i osvojio je Veliku zlatnu mimozu za
najbolju mušku ulogu na Filmskom festivalu u Herceg Novom.

Senad Sahmanovic is a Montenegrin filmmaker with a background in film and television
directing. He completed his BA and Specialist studies in Film and TV Directing at the Faculty of
Dramatic Arts in Cetinje, Montenegro. Since 2015, he has been working as a director for the
Documentary Department of the National Television of Montenegro, where he has directed
multiple docufiction formats. He currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of the Art and Culture
Department.
His debut feature film Sirin premiered at the Sarajevo Film Festival and went on to screen at
numerous international festivals. The film was selected as Montenegro’s official submission for
the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film.
His second feature project, Pontonovo srce, a hybrid film and TV series, was screened at
festivals, cinemas, and on national television, and had a lot of success. It received the Golden
Mimosa for Best Actor at the Montenegro Film Festival.

Sinopsis / Synopsis: Osamdesetih godina prošlog vijeka, samohrana majka koja je pobjegla iz
komunističke Čehoslovačke mora da se vrati u domovinu kako bi otplatila stari dug. Rizično
putovanje je poremećeno neočekivanim događajima koji otkrivaju tajne.
In the 1980s, a single mother who fled communist Czechoslovakia has to return to her
homeland in order to pay an old debt. The risky trip is upset by unexpected events that
bring secrets into the open.

O reditelju / Director’s bio: Aleksandra Makarova (1985, Čehoslovačka) je slovačko-
austrijska scenaristkinja i filmska rediteljka rođena u umjetničkoj porodici iz Rusije i Grčke.
Preselila se u Beč da živi sa majkom, slikarkom Sašom Makarovom, i studirala je scenaristiku
i režiju na Filmskom koledžu u Beču. Aleksandra je poznata po filmovima „Perla“ (2025),
„Slomi mi srce“ (2018) i „Sola“ (2013).
Alexandra Makarova (1985, Czechoslovakia) is a Slovak-Austrian screenwriter and
filmmaker born into a family of artists from Russia and Greece. She moved to Vienna to live
with her mother, the painter Saša Makarova, and studied screenwriting and directing at the
Film College Vienna. Alexandra is known for ‘Perla’ (2025), ‘Crush My Heart’ (2018) and
‘Sola’ (2013).
